Love Me For Me... chapter 4 [Oh, that's him? ...

Lola, one of the airheads in the cheerleading squad, kept asking me for my answers during math class. Why wouldnt she just move on with it?? Math bores me, and I hate it, even though I'm not bad at it. I kept telling her I was trying to sleep. I never got the chance to do so, though, and I never gave her the answer either.

Second period
Photography. I loved that class. Anything that has to do with sports or arts, that's my zone. We went to the football fields and the teacher wanted us to take pictures of the landscape. Some landscape, all I could see were the little kids in gym, and the gratings surrounding the empty baseball field. I looked around for something to shoot at, and when I looked up, I saw Joe behind a window in the third floor. I think it was Social Science class. He looked really interested, but then he turned around and saw me and waved at me. I smiled and waved back. I took a picture of him just for the fun of it as he stuck out his tongue. It was funny. I then turned to keep taking pictures.

Third period
Gym. I loved Tuesdays cuz we always had my favorite classes... and well... math. We were playing soccer. I took out my gym clothes and soccer shoes from my locker and we started playing. I teamed up with the best players. We scored 8 goals and won. Then the coach wanted us to do some pushups... I could do it, because I've been training for ages, but I was exhausted after that.

Finally we got to the first break. Lucy, who's in my class, and I went down to the cafeteria. I got a Red Bull and my second pack of Corn Pops. We met up with Emma and Mitchie who were talking about some fight that had happened a few minutes ago with a jock and a prep guy. They had seen the whole thing. Apparently, the prep had been sent home for all the bruises he had. We sat a table and started talking about random stuff. Then Joe came up to me.
"Hey Jane!" he had that big smile on his face again. For some reason, when I looked at my friends and my sister, they had all dropped their jaws to the floor. It was weird.
"Hey Joe! How were your first classes?" I tried to ignore the whispers and giggles among my friends. What was so funny?
"Yeaah they were ok. I really liked the Social Science class though. It was interesting! And my classmates are cool" Emma elbowed me and cleared her throat.
"Ouch. Oh sorry. This is my sister, Emma. And these are my friends, Lucy and Mitchie"
"Hey girls! I'm Joe. Joe Jonas" I noticed a flirty smile. Well, who could blame him? Almost the whole school crushes on my group of friends.
"We know!!" they said excitedly for some reason. How did they know? They all were smiling as if some sort of god was in front of them or something. It was all awkward. He laughed slightly and stayed for a few minutes and then Randy, one of the seniors called him over so he left. Emma, Mitchie and Lucy were all staring at me weird.
"What??" I thought they were laughing cuz I was flirting or something.
"Do you have any idea of who that is???" asked Mitchie.
"Yeah... you heard him... he's Joe... why?" I still didn't get it.
"What do you mean why??? He's the best singer ever!!!" Lucy was almost screaming. Singer?? So that's why his name seemed so familiar! Jonas... the Jonas Brothers?? I hated that band! That's why I hadn't recognized him right away! Emma knew everything about them though. She had OJD or however they called it. "Obsessive Jonas Disorder", that's what I think it stands for. I was never near interested in finding out who the members were or what they looked like.
"Girl, I listen to their songs all the time!! Plus haven't u been to my room??" Emma was overexcited. I could tell. That's when I sort of switched on. I had seen his face in Emma's laptop. Omg... I had just totally made a fool out of myself. I started thinking. I remembered how Emma used to talk about them 24/7. He and his younger brother were homeschooled. Why had he gone back to school in his very last year? It didn't make any sense.
"Oh! That's him? ... Cool" I wasn't too excited anyways. It's not like he was Angus Young, from AC/DC in front of me or something. Then, I would have gone crazy, and of course I would have recognized him since the very beginning. He's just a guy from another boy band. Pop or popular music shouldn't even be considered music. It's just noise. The bell rang. I took my stuff and headed to my favorite class: electives, where, of course, I picked music.
